She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Layton and Mabel Layton (Hockenberry); her husband Allen A. Akers, Sr.; her brother Dale Layton Jr.; and her son-in-law Cecil.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Beckstrom, Allen Akers Jr., Debbie Starliper (Rick) and Lisa Renninger (Joe); her grandchildren, Brad, Laura, Angie and Trevor; and her siblings, Audrey Morral and Gary Layton. She is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
