He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R. Malone and Hazel May Gennon Malone; his wife Catherine "Cass" M. Grosso Malone; his daughter Patty Malone; and his brother William Malone.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Kenvin (Tom), Donna Omvig (Richard), Jack V. Malone, Jr. (Rosanne), Robert Malone (Peg), Mary Ann Jensen (Rich), Thomas J. Malone (Mary) and Linda Smith (Dennis); and his siblings, Robert Malone (Lorraine), Lois Hasier and James Malone (Marty). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
