He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen M. (Frank) and Richard N. Shenberger; and his niece Kelly Balent. He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Shenberger (Sheri), Mike Shenberger (Cecelia), Patti Shenberger and Marcy Balent; and his nieces and nephews, Melinda Shenberger, Marty Balent (Lauren), Amy Balent, Jenny Balent (Adam) and Ryan Shenberger.
