He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlow Jacob and Emma Louise Baer (Shughart); and his brothers, O. Jacob Baer Jr. and Dale C. Baer. He is survived by: his wife Judy Baer (Shughart); his children, Linda Lobaugh (Len) of Gardners and James "Jim" R. Baer (Paula) of Littlestown; his brothers, Glen Baer of Newville and John Baer (Mindy) of Etters; and his sisters-in-law, June Baer of Carlisle, Vonnie Baer of Carlisle and Brenda Coder (Ernie) of Wellsboro. He is also survived by loving extended family members and friends.
