She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Ketterling (Krischenowski) and Phillip Ketterling; her daughter Brenda Korell; her husband Cyril Gilbert; and her brothers, Phillip Jr., William and Richard.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Calvin Korell of Cressona; her grandsons, Brandon Korell of Mechanicsburg and Chad Korell (Bonnie) of Auburn; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Julia Korell; and her siblings, Wesley Ketterling, Hilda Banning, Maybelle Borgrud and Esther Anderson.
