He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Gerber (Brown) and George Gerber; and his siblings, Lewis Gerber, Erma Beuchler and Clarence Gerber.
He is survived by: his children, Irma Lee Meade, Priscilla Mowery, Tony Gerber of Hegins and Eugene Gerber of Lewistown; and his brothers, Richard Gerber, Joseph Gerber and Carl Gerber. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
