She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Merkel and Mary Elizabeth Merkel (Leiby); and her siblings, Ellsworth Merkel and Dorothy Quinn. She is survived by: her children, Sandra (David Prueitt), Wayne I. (Cynthia Ebling) and Craig Ebling; her close friend Jackie Robinson; her grandchildren, Alina Ebling, Alison Adamski and Benjamin Prueitt; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra and Ryan Prueitt. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
