She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hughes and Blanche Hughes (Moyer); her former husband John M. Guitas Sr.; her daughter Carol Lynn Bindley; her grandson Jonathan "Jono" Cresswell; her sister Doris Leonard; and her pet Daisy May.
She is survived by: her children, David Guitas (Julie), Jack Guitas (Eileen), Connie Cherry, Diane Cresswell (Jeff) and Schuylkill Haven; and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Kevin, Jessica Guitas, Jennifer Kelly, Casey Boyle, Jeffrey Cresswell, Brett, Cody Bindley and Jason Lassandro. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
