He was predeceased by: his father John R. VanGuilder; his stepfather Dennis P. Slattery; and his grandparents, Leroy and Florence Delaney. He is survived by: his mother Patricia A. Slattery (Delaney); his sisters, Jacqueline Eberhart (Kenneth) of Cresson and Denise Reese (Michael) of Cresson; his nephews, Collin and Kyle Reese; and his niece Abby Eberhart. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
