She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Bud" C. Eckenrode and Dorothy "Rose" R. Eckenrode (Bismark); and her sister Beth Eckenrode. She is survived by: her husband Oscar T. McConnell Jr.; her sons, Oscar "Tommy" McConnell III, Todd McConnell (Emily), Troy McConnell (Jeanette), Trent McConnell (Corlyn) and Travis McConnell; her grandchildren, Kendall, Issac, Elwood, Tillman, Tristan, Trace, Tori, Ty, Aurora, Levi, Gavin, Ava and Linkin; and her sisters, Shelly McIntosh, Diane Holtz, Debbie Mock, Joyce Eckenrode and Lynn Fusco.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic School, Cresson or St. Michael School, Loretto.
