She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ratchford and Mary Ratchford (Troxell); her former husband Joseph C. Steele; her son James; and her siblings, Verdon Focht, Alma Stiver, Lindy, Richard and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Jolene Piper (Kenneth) of Duncansville, Linda S. Gresham (Charles) of Hollidaysburg, Joseph Jr. (Carol) and Lester "Rusty"; and her wife Terri of Arizona. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers.
