Joan A. Sibis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 86, Joan A. Sibis (Cresson, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tremel and Mary Tremel (Galla); her husband Francis "Frank" P. Sibis; her daughter Darla Sibis; her siblings, William "Billy", Charles (Ann), James (Joanne) and Betty Lego (John); and her brother-in-law Jerry Moschgat.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Karen), Francis (Nancy), Robert, Rebecca Maloskey and Tom; her grandchildren, Danny Sibis, Christina Moyer, Kayla Maloskey, Brandy Russel, Tiffani Maloskey, Jessica Sibis, Katrina Sibis, Franky Sibis and Tabitha Sibis; her great grandchildren, Jazmine Boland, Makenna Smith, Blaise Smith, Ava Russell, Conor Russell, Isla Russell, Darla Sibis and Nicholas Morooco; her sister Dory Moschgat; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Tremel and Gloria LeComte.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (233 Keystone Ave, Cresson, PA 16630). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 608 Main St, Lilly, PA 15938.
