She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Eckenrode and Marie C. Eckenrode (Westrick); her husband Bernard "Red" Hammond; and her son-in-law Chet Beres. She is survived by: her children, Bernie Hammond, Tom Hammond of Hollidaysburg, Dorothy Beres of Johnstown and Helen Beyer; her grandchildren, Tim, Karrie, Mark, Bryan, Mike, Scott, Chris, Lauren and Matt; and her siblings, James Eckenrode (Judy), Carrolltown, Tom Eckenrode, Jeanne Pipas (George) and Emporium. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
