With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis A. Filak (Cresson, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew P. Filak and Florence Zelenski (Ahles). He is survived by: his wife Angeline T. "Cookie" Filak (Guzic); his children, Toni Krug (Jeff) and Andrew "Andy" Filak; his grandchildren, Madison Krug, Morghan Krug, Marlie Krug and Isaac Filak; his siblings, Barbara, Larry, Rick and Chuck; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Loretto American Legion (277 St Mary St, Loretto, PA 15940). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
