He was predeceased by: his parents, Kessler D. Wilson and Ida E. Wilson (Swander); his wife Irean E. Rodgers; and his brother Jackie Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Bobbi G. Wilson and David C. Wilson Jr.; his grandchildren, Mattrina B. Wilson, Geneeva I. Bennett and Robert L. Bennett; and his siblings, Louella "Peggy" Wilson and Samuel J. Wilson. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces.
