He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jacob and Clara Belle Jones (Van Why); his sisters, Lettie Mae Neison and Hettie Bixler; and his wife Cheri Jean (Oppelt).
He is survived by: his children, Angela Jones-Price (Jeremy), Samuel Jones, II (Inna Vityuk) and Jacob Jones; his grandchildren, Clara Soller, Lily Soller, Samuel Jones, Paul Jones, Anastasia Jones, Alexandria Jones, Jacob Jones, Makayla Jones and Chassity Jones; his siblings, Clara Belle Fellows, Rae Ronger, Donna Campbell and Clark Smith; and his cousin Ruth Shook Gross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
