He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. LaBar and Linnie LaBar (Bradford); and his sister Mary Jane Boise. He is survived by: his wife Mabel "May" LaBar (Harrison); his siblings, Charles L. LaBar (Marlene) and Ann Chopek; his sons, Christopher R. Harrison (Susan) and Joshua LaBar; his grandchildren, Edward R. Harrison and Rebecca M. Harrison (Carson Counterman); his great grandchild Jessica Harrison; his niece Arlene "Suzie" LaBar; his great-nephew Weston LaBar; and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Smith (Harrison) and Josephine Fish (Harrison).
Along with these, he was honored for his contributions to golf tournaments to raise funds for The Barrett Community Club and granted an Appreciation Award from the Fraternal Order of Police for his countless hours on the Golf and Picnic Committee.
