It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leila Komenko (Cresco, Pennsylvania), born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Benny Macklin; and her siblings, Iva Adams, Betty Swineford, Helen Dymond, Leetta Alexander, Gertrude Simpson and John Macklin.
She is survived by: her parent Amanda Macklin (Priest); her daughter Donna Marie Townsend (Robert) of East Stroudsburg; her sister Elsie Beaver of East Stroudsburg; and her sister-in-law Betty Komenko of Cresco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Canadensis United Methodist Church.
