It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Shedlock (Cresco, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Shedlock and Anna Shedlock (Matichka); and his siblings, Andrew, Thomas, George Shedlock, Michael, Daniel, Anna, Marian Mondulick Totino, Dolores, Eleanor Shedlock, Patricia, Florence and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Skarbek); his children, Kenneth Shedlock (Abby), Diane Shedlock, Michelle Wood (Dave) and Karen Bachmann (Tim); and his grandchildren, Ben Shedlock, Tyler Wood (Katie), Kersyn Wood, William Bachmann and John Bachmann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.
As an active retiree, Joe volunteered at AmeriCorps/Seniors RSVP and Telephone Pioneers of America in Stroudsburg, PA as well as Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, Florida.
