John Sherwood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sherwood of Cresco, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sherwood and Alice Sherwood (Tierney); and his siblings, Patricia Sevret, Joseph Sherwood and Paul Sherwood.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sherwood (Coffman); his son John; his daughter-in-law Debra Sherwood; his aunt Irene Tierney; his sister Suzanne Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Barbara Coffman and Joyce Coffman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Parish (212 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
