With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheri Jean (Oppelt) Jones of Cresco, Pennsylvania, born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 15, 2020 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Peach" Oppelt and Ethel Oppelt (Price); and her siblings, Clifford Oppelt and Phyllis Seese. She is survived by: her husband Samuel L. Jones; her children, Angela Jones-Price (Jeremy) of Cresco, Samuel Jones II (Inna Vityuk) of Cresco and Jacob Jones (Jaime Otto) of Cresco; her grandchildren, Clara Rose Soller, Lily Ann Soller, Samuel Jones, Paul Jones, Anastasia Jones, Jacob Jones, Makayla Lynn Jones and Chassity Jones; and her brother Allen Oppelt of Mountainhome. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
