He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Tranter and Garnet Delong Tranter; his sisters, Norma Jean Colangelo and Joanne Miller (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Dan Mallinder and Georgia Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Sue E. Tranter; his children, Justin Tranter (Brandy), Mark Tranter, Chad Miller (Cammie) and Denae Miller Keith (Joe Hammond); his grandchildren, Noah Keith, Tristan St. James, Caden and Cullen Miller; his sisters, Rebecca Nestor (William) and Linda Martin (Frank); his siblings-in-law, Ronald Colangelo (Dee Dee), Nancy Mallinder and Joy Mallinder; and his pets, Reese and Max. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made in his name to the Crescent Twp V.F.D., Coraopolis Elks Lodge 1090, or the Hopewell VFW Post 8805.
