He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia "Jenny" DeKort. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy DeKort and Megan Goodwin (Tyler Goodwin); his siblings, David DeKort (late Paula DeKort) of Canada and Kimberlyn Keith (David Keith) of Seattle; and his grandchildren, Grady Goodwin and Lucy Zubek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
