He is survived by: his wife Janet Niemeyer (Slack); his daughters, Phyllis Kammermeier (John) and Elaine Schreiner (Robert); his stepdaughter Emily Matsko; his sister Julia Foxwell (late Sidney); his grandchildren, Sharon (James), Ashley (Carl), John Jr. (Vanessa), Henry (Chelsea), Evelyn and Aaron; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Josef, Caris, Zachary and John III.
