She was predeceased by: her parents, Pietro Bongianino and Francesco Bongianino (Vidano); her husband Joseph Adam Zilka; her daughter Sheila Marie Zilka (Louis Heinle) of Natrona Heights; her grandson Michael Joseph Zilka, Jr.; and her siblings, Tuillo Bongianino, Gloria Locati and Shirley Kozub.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Jones (Allen) of Fawn Township, Dolores Wagner (Rodney) of Chippewa Township, Michael Joseph Zilka, Sr. (Mary Ellen) of New Waterford, Sylvia Schneider (Jeff) of Tarentum and Perry P. A. Zilka (Stacie) of Cheswick; her grandchildren, Sherri Jones (Jon McCauley), Lisa Sweeney (Patrick), Diana Houck, Jason Wagner (Kimberly), Jonathan Wagner (Kristen), Keith Wagner (Ruzella), Kimberly Rodgers (Steve), Valerie Walker (Jim), Nicole Rawding (J. D.), Bryan Zilka (Kelsey), Joseph Schneider (Christine Rothgeb), Justin Schneider and Brayden Zilka; and her sisters, Nancy Fox (Donald) of Ocala and Sandy Kline (Matthew) of Alexandria, Virginia.. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frazer Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, 2020 Bakerstown Road, Tarentum, or Frazer Volunteer Department No. 2, 2129 Butler Logan Road, Tarentum, PA 15084 in her memory.
