She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Steiner and Shirley Mae Steiner (Bretz); and her brother Douglas Steiner. She is survived by: her husband Mel Bendig; her children, Melanie S. Nitschke (Keith) of Springboro and Scott C. Bendig of Everett, WA; her grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Casey and Megan; and her siblings, Jimmy D. Steiner of Erie and Darlene Buck (Jerry) of Crossville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
