He was predeceased by: his stepson Walter Weis; his brother Jeffrey Kooser; and his parents, Dr. Robert R. and Mildred Kooser. He is survived by: his children, William Kooser (Sue) of Cranberry, Kelley Muir (Jason) and Julie Polites (Stephen) of Forest Hills; his grandchildren, Robert, Zachary Kooser, Jacob, Olivia Muir and Stephen Polites; and his sister Dianne Heidingsfelder (late Fred).
