She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Dreger and Lydia Dreger. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Staton (Alan) and Laura Walters (Rick); and her stepsons, Michael Schlup (Marilyn) and Richard Schlup. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Violet's name to Habitat for Humanity.
