June Rice Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Rice of Cranberry Twp, Pennsylvania, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Carter and Elner Carter (Evans); her former husband Alan Rice; her siblings, Miriam Tropeano, Helen Sautner, Dorothy Dawes, James, Jack, Daniel and Bruce Carter; and her parents-in-law, Eugene Tropeano, John Sautner, Sid Dawes, Alice Carter, Marilyn Carter and Doris Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rice (David Anderson) of Pittsburgh, PA and Mark Rice; and her granddaughters, Sophia, Abigail and Katherine Rice of Tampa, FL.. She is also survived by her children.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation in June's name to the Heinz Chapel Choir at the University of Pittsburgh, 4337 Fifth Avenue, 128 Music Building, Pittsburgh, PA 15260.
