He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hemlin Anderson and Isabell Sarah Anderson (Barnett); and his brother David Anderson (Joan Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Anderson (Zoppelt); his son Michael S. Anderson (Amber Anderson); his grandchildren, Annelies and Tabitha; his son Samuel Anderson (Katie Anderson); his grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah; and his siblings, Eunice Kolb (Aaron Kolb) and Ken Anderson (Lois Anderson).
