He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arent and Ann Arent; his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Beyer Arent; and his siblings, Patricia and Robert.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Arent (Francine), Kevin Arent and Curtis Arent; his grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Elijah, Hope, Caleb and Faith; and his brother George Arent (Donna).
