He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer R. Fester and Clara Forsythe Fester; his wife Diane J. Linnert Fester; his children, Nellarose O'Dell and Kenny Fester; his stepsons, David Schmitt, Robert Schmitt and James Schmitt; and his sisters, Dixie Lawther and Mary DeHart. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
