He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Fuechslin and Dorothy Fuechslin (Pegher). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Staci Thayer (Matt) and Richard, Jr. Fuechslin (Kristen); his grandchildren, Matthew, Samuel Thayer, Seth and Shannon Fuechslin; and his siblings, Robert Fuechslin (Marie), Donald Fuechslin (Rebecca) and Suzanne McGinley (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled National Veterans Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
