He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Loop and Marilyn Loop (Cleer); and his sister Susie Spirko. He is survived by: his wife Lois Kissel; his daughter Nicole Kissel; and his siblings, Denny Loop, Jeff Loop (Denise) and Cindy Neil (Bob).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to please make donations to the Disabled American Veterans, Cancer Research, or the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
