He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Taress and Anna Taress (Orlowski); and his brother Richard Taress. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Taress (Connor); his children, Philip Michael Taress and Victoria Lynn Taress; and his granddaughter Kyrie Kensey.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to St. Vincent De Paul, 146 N. Monroe St., Butler, PA 16001.
