He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Riegler and Anna Marie Dernus Riegler; his in-laws, Henry and Mary Katherine Houpt; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Nickl, Henry Houpt, Jr. and Joseph Baier.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Houpt Riegler (Jeannie); his children, Andrea Schriner (Chris) of Saxonburg, Allison Morrow (Steve Huggins) of Middlesex Twp, Karl Riegler (Corandina) of Penn Twp, Eric Riegler of Austin, TX and Joel Riegler of Middlesex Twp; his grandchildren, Andy, Lauren, Adam, Evan Schriner, Vanessa, Claudia Morrow, Michela and Sophia Riegler; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Olminsky (Charles) of Ravenna, OH and Frank Riegler (Diane) of Gibsonia. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
