He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Shoup and Marie Paul of Pittsburgh, PA; his brother Donald Forrest; and his former wife Donna J. James. He is survived by: his sister Rose Marie Shoup; his sons, James M. Shoup III (Melissa) and Jeffrey M. Shoup (Heidi); his wife Susan M. Guerry; his son Jason M. Shoup (Christi); and his grandchildren, James, Jeremy, Stephanie, Joshua, Sienna, Seth, Jacob, Angelina and Sarah.
