We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2021, at the age of 89, Helen Lawrence Bird of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Daniel "Danny" Lawrence; her mother Lucille Andia Guardino; and her stepfather Pat Guardino. She is survived by: her husband John A. Bird; her sons, David J. Bird (Marla) of Evans City and J. Alan Bird (Maureen) of Parker, CO; her grandchildren, R. J., Kathleen and Jaclynn; and her brothers, Patrick Guardino (Lorraine) of Toronto and Louis Guardino (Janet) of Ross Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Helen's honor to the Cranberry Public Library, as she was one of the founding members. Donations may also be made to the Spina Bifida Association of Western PA or to St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
