He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Posel and Bertha Logar Posel; and his children, Christine Posel and Matthew Posel. He is survived by: his wife Patti Sobash Posel; his daughters, Stephanie Posel and Michalene Posel (David Thompson); his granddaughter Alina Posel Simmons; and his sisters, Patti Lortscher and Joyce Posel.
