He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony Zaras and Becky Zaras (Aivazis) of Mt. Lebanon; his wife Kristen Zaras (Collins); his children, Parker, Preston and Lauren; his sister Athena Petrolias (Zaras); his brother-in-law Jamie Petrolias; his nephews, John and Anthony Petrolias; his mothers-in-law, Jean Collins, Kel Collins and T. C. Collins; and his sister-in-law Melissa Collins (Migliaro).
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral or the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America Foundation.
