He was predeceased by: his wife Doris H. Sorna; his siblings, Ray, John Sorna and Maryanne Christy; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Sorna (OH).

He is survived by: his children, Michael Sorna (Mary), Annette Testa (Dan), John Sorna (Cyndi), George Sorna (Heather) and Theresa Liebermann (Chris); his grandchildren, Michael Sorna (Jessica), Rachel Schilkowsky (John), Matthew Sorna, Andrea Sorna (Daniel Szewczak), Nicholas Testa (Nicole Coniff), Stephen Testa (Kayla), David Testa, Quinn Testa, Cassaundra Sorna, Amanda Menzi (Kyle), Jonah Sorna and Sophia Liebermann; his great grandchildren, Freya, Adrian, Elena, Charlotte and Elizabeth; his siblings, Thomas Sorna, Bernadette Jira (Gerry) and Margie Glenny (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Noreen Sorna and Jay Christy. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
