He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gerner and Eleanor Gerner (Piech). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gerner (Rygiel); his stepdaughters, Diana Ammer (Michael) and Rita Ernst (Derek); his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Gabe and Arabella; and his great grandchild Henry. He is also survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and many loving relatives and friends.
