He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Meister and Margaret Meister (Sherran); and his former wife Mary-Helen Meister (Higgins). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Meister (Black Preston); his children, David "Chip" Meister (Madeline) and Margaret "Peggy" Winterfeld (William); his stepsons, Roger Preston (Laurie Jordan) and Phillip Preston (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Will Meister Murray (Samantha), Sam Meister, Claire, Kirk and Elizabeth Preston.
