It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David M. Hammel of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Edwin J. Hammel; his sister Mary Ann Walsh; and his brother-in-law Greg Brichacek. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Hoehle Hammel; his son Jacob Hammel (Rachel); his siblings, Judy Willoughby (Gary), Ron Hammel (Debbie), Susan Kalinyak (Joe), Patty Conway and Diane Hammel; and his brother-in-law Tim Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
