He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra L. Wilson of Cranberry, Jeanne L. Hansen of Carson City, NV, Connie L. Ekkens (Dan) of Forest Ranch, CA, Kathleen D. Lutz (Bill) of Butler, Richard P. Eakin of Frankin, Steven G. Eakin of Frankin and Robert C. Eakin of Frankin; his sister-in-law Joyce Eakin of Knox; his aunts, Helen Myers Ray of Christiansburg, VA and Arlene Myers of Cranberry; his wife Virginia Geitner of Oil City; his daughters, Halyce M. Eakin and Kailyn M. Lam (Charlie); his granddaughter Emily M. Lam of Cranberry; his close friend Deb Salley; and his adoptive daughter Nicole Shumbo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
