It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Nist-Schweitzer (Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Paul J. Nist; her parents, Steve Jacmenovich and Katherine Jacmenovich; and her sisters, Mary Hayson, Violet Mamic and Helen Schweitzer.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Schweitzer; the mothers of children, Sharon Moretti (John), Sandy Carroll (Dan) and Paulette Perry (Bob); her grandchildren, Marty Moretti (Mindy), Diane Bayer (Mike), Lynn Neilson (Mike), Emily Livingston (Mikel), Matt Carroll (Emily Timm) and Libby DePalma (Tony); her children, Gary Schweitzer (Susan), David Schweitzer (Marcia) and Janet Schweitzer (Rich Gibson); her grandchildren, Stephanie Schweitzer (Chris Michael), Samantha Rickard (Matthew), Matthew Schweitzer and Evan Schweitzer; and her great grandchild Harry Rickard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
