He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Dedola (James); his granddaughter Mary Dedola; and his sister Giovanna. He is survived by: his sons, Salvatore "Sam" Dedola (Dawn) and David Dedola (Lori); his grandchildren, Salvatore (Katie), Guy (Julia), Dean (Lindy), David (Leah), Dominic and Dante; and his siblings, John "Tony" and Petronilla "Patty". He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
