She was predeceased by: her son Ralph Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Ralf H. Mechling; and her children, Lynn Kriska (Mike), Alberta Coulter, Robert Arbuckle (Mary), Denise Philips, Cort Mechling (Linda), Mark Mechling (Krista) and Aline Shick (Robert). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruth's memory to the Southwestern Veterans Center where she has resided the past year.
