He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine M. Rodgers (Smith); his parents, James Rodgers and Mary Rodgers; and his siblings, Antoin and Catherine Rodgers.
He is survived by: his children, John J. Rodgers (Deborah), Mary Schubert (Richard), Maureen Rodgers, Eileen Meade (Matthew), Brendan, Neal (Bree), Laura Schubert, Riley, Everett Meade, Isabella, Aubrey, Gigi, Adrianne and Corinne Schubert; his close friend Murphy; and his sister-in-law Brid Rodgers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
