He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Kelly (Novak). He is survived by: his wife Paula; his son James E. Kelly, Jr.; his grandson James R. Kelly (Chelsea); his sister-in-law Andrea McCall; and his nephews, Mark Holcomb, Daniel Kennedy and Patrick Kenned.
